It seems to be highly variable on condition, but about $2500—$12000. It depends hugely on condition, mileage and whether the drivetrain has been changed or not. The original drivetrain was quite unreliable.

Highly dependent on condition. As they are VERY expensive to fix, it would be worth spending the money for a well maintained one with a documented service history. A cheap one will cause a lot of heartbreak for you.
