Looking for a Herman Hesse book...

It was three short stories.

1. The first was about a boy who stole treats from his father.
2. The second, I think was about a man who committed a crime and ended up jumping into a lake from a small boat.
3. Don’t remember… I am getting old.

I would like to buy this book for a friend and can’t find it on Amazon.

for number 2, do you mean the story about this guy named Hans (something) who gets expelled from the seminary and ends up drowning. If so the name of the book is Beneath the Wheel -but its a novel not a short story so I might be wrong
