Did you do something that might have broken it? Sports? A fall?

I would advise calling a doctor.

It is an easy bone to crack. Both my kids broke theirs when they were young. It’s best to get an x-ray although the treatment was “grin and bear it.” At least we knew to stop the skiing, medicine balls, and broad jumping.

You need a new one. See your local mechanic.

Doctor. My bad.

WebMD says you have gout, or it’s broken.

just thinking about my collar bone makes it hurt

@reactor5 : GrammarMD says “My bad” is a barbarism.

@shannoniverson did you find out what it was? Are you all right?
