Anyone else notice the new notification feature on the main page of Fluther?

Isn’t that the composing member feature? I have had that feature for awhile. Or is it something else?

@skfinkel no, on the front page now, it shows a little pen and tells you if someone is currently editing an answer.

Hmm… Interesting feature. It’s cool, but I’m not so sure exactly how useful it will be. After all, if I’m interested in answering a question, the number of people who are working on it won’t really affect my decision to answer it anyway.

Yeah, we figured we’re having a big media hit so we might as well push a new feature, just to keep it extra-exciting…

Adding this on… Hmm… I suppose it just helps to show that there are people working on questions as you’re looking at them.. Gives a sense of liveliness to the place.. Does anyone agree with me?

I still don’t see it. :-( Where is it graphically on the main page? (top, bottom, right, left, next to something?)

i did notice the pencil though! EDITED TO ADD: Now that I know the icon on the main page is also a pencil, i should clarify that i meant i saw the pencil icon on the “composing” inside of the question, but not the one on the main page.

Yay, I found it. Subtle. I wonder if it will spur some answers to questions with no pencil marker?
