Where and when is 'The Brothers Bloom' set?

Modern era. Now basically, but a strange, fantasy version of now.

I thoughtrht one of the coolest parts of that movie was the nostalgic settings even though it’s contemporary. For instance, they juxtaposed cellphones and trans-Atlantic steamers. Fun times.

Just saw this and the where, I think, included St. Petersburg, New Jersey, Montenegro, Prague, and Mexico. However, the when is hazy as, like Lightlyseared said, its a mix of classic and modern elements. However, it turns out that it was 2006 Lamborghini that she kept on crashing so must be modern day.
