Start now. Rewrite your notes until you can write them entirely from memory.

Form a study group with other classmates. Each of you create a set of flashcards and in the study group quiz each other.

Record your notes and put them on your iPod. Listen to them while you walk/bike/drive around. This obviously works better for something like history and doesn’t work so well for math.

I hate the sound of my voice so I had a friend record them for me.

You can try using a few methods to your notes (either on paper or note-cards , which ever you are more comfortable with .)

You can try writing down the important points of each topic into point forms , or if you have a textbook , highlight (either underline them or use a marker to mark) the important points that need to be remembered.

Or you could try doing mind-maps , it will be easier for you to remember important notes . This is one method that works for me (=

I generally read them over the night before the exam. Maybe even a couple days before if I was really organized. Worked for me. [Well, I did get the odd B+ every once in a while]

But straight A’s are overrated.
