Will this shutter release work with a Fuji S9100 camera?

Asked by Kade13 (185points) December 6th, 2009

I was wondering if this shutter release will work with a Fuji Finepix S9100/9600 camera.

I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t unless the fitting size is different but there doesn’t seem to be any detailed information on it so i was wondering if anyone has used it and if it worked with their camera.. it seems like a real bargain at the moment.

Most cable releases are designed to fit into a wide variety of cameras. As long as your camera has a place for the release to be screwed into (most are screwed directly into your shutter release button), you shouldn’t have much of a problem. Also, seeing as you’d be buying new from Amazon, I don’t think it would be too hard to return or exchange an item that wasn’t what you needed.

Pictures on amazon.com seem to show that camera to have the requisite threads on your shutter. This product will work fine.
