I wish I was able to manage my time better.

If I could easily adopt the habit of successfully hitting on younger women it would make a big difference to my life and to my wife’s life.

Taking life in my stride would be a start instead of worrying :)

Poopy's avatar

@ anoop66, what part do you find hard to manage?

If I could adapt a new practice this year; it would be NO MORE ice cream or donuts etc… as I am diabetic and know that they do not do me good .

@ colliedog, cute =P

Something to make me less lazy.
Something to make me not scared of going outside by myself.
Something to make me join a club or something (maybe cooking, I want to learn to cook better :))

Overall it would help out :)

@ littleGirlLost, we only have one life, let go of what you cannot control.

@ pjanaway, baby steps. Take one of them, work on it.

@ HighShaman, I’ll eat them for you. =P

Losing the habit of smoking! I’d like the habit of not smoking.

Walk my dogs more often, which would result in more exercise for all of us and staying more in touch with the small changes and happenings in our neighborhood.

Sitck-to-it-ivness, if that’s a word. (Otherwise, I’ll go do something else.)

found this today…

“If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.” Rainer Maria Rilke…

that’s what I would like to adopt

Moving from doing exercises in my home to working out in a gym room with equipment. I want different results for my body now and I’m even willing to workout alongside someone else, let them see me sweat and strain.

Poopy's avatar

@ lynneblundell, I need to adopt.

Not being late for school. I’d get more work done.

This year? I’ve only got 2 weeks, then, and for a new habit to stick, I need 21 days.

Can we start this next year?

I’d not procrastinate.

I’m with faye on the smoking thing. Time to finally get serious and have a habit of not smoking.

Eating less im really not happy i gained this weight.

Being healthier all around. Eating, exercising, being more productive. It would be very beneficial, especially because I’ll soon have a toddler and a newborn. I could use the extra energy!

@Mavericksjustdoinganotherflyby and @faye – Get the Easyway book, by Allan Carr. I was surprised at how well that worked. And I’d tried quitting at least 4 or 5 times previously using different methods with bad results. I’ve been off the sticks for well over a year and a half now, and I can’t imagine ever smoking again.

@ aprilsimnel psychology taught me, not everyone can or do think that far ahead.

Poopy's avatar

@ curlysue, do you want mine? =P

@mcbealerHere are some more reasons why walking the dogs more is good.
