I need help moving a web site from one server to another and I suck at all things tech...

need to move a site with SSL certificates and some other complicated databases (well complicated to me, I have no idea what I am doing, I am a photographer not a web designer.) I am hoping someone can take a look and let me know how much it will cost.

the cost depends on what it is you are wanting to do, if you are just moving it from one server to another it should be free (aside from the new server cost).

I’d be amazed it if were free. If it has databases, it’s not a simple move; you’re probably looking at $500 and up if you have to hire an expert per hour, depending on how complicated the site is. Your new host may help you move it as part of the service, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I have tried two different people (web designer types) and they could not figure it out. The company who built the database for me does not respond to requests for help. It is not a complicated data base, if anyone wants to take a stab at it let me know I will send you the links and such and see what it will take.
