When will the iPhone SDK be released and does anyone know about the apps?

According to this rumor details are coming on March 6, 2008.

SDK is a software development kit that will allow third-party software developers (read: outside of Cupertino) to create their own native applications for the iPhone (in the same way that developers can write applications for Mac OS X, there by extending its functionality).

Apple previously announced that an iPhone SDK was coming in February.

rumors say next week. We won’t know about the apps until after the SDK comes out. Maybe not even then.
