On Facebook, how do i block the game results that my friends post?

Asked by jca (36062points) January 16th, 2010

I am tired of seeing who did what with Farmville, Mafia Wars and all those other games. How do i block the posts for games only, so i can still see friends’ posts but not the game results?

i was clicking around “Privacy Settings” but i don’t see anything about game results.

I think when one of these pops up there is an option just to the right hand side, which says Hide, and you can block any updates from a game.

Well if you hover over the top-right corner of the post you’ll see a “Hide” option. It will let you choose to hide that person all together or just that application.

Annnnd beaten to it.

Oh, I’m going to try this, too. I, too, get sick of that crap. I don’t mind the hugs & hearts, but the games drive me nuts.

Oh, this is wonderful. thanks, guys. I’ve gone in & blocked some games there. How good it’ll be to not have to see all of that crap.

If they are considerate Faceboogers, they’ll make a group of friends who only play that game and then post the game stuff to the people that care about it. (That’s what I do.) However, that “Hide” option people mentioned up there ^^ is a good second line of defense.

I’m sorry your friends are crappy. ;)
