What do I need to do to change how my screen looks?

Asked by troubleinharlem (7991points) March 3rd, 2010

I want to play the Sims2 on my Vaio Mini, but when I do, it makes the Sims look like coneheads. It actually looks like screens in the movies… with an inch cut off on both sides. How can I get it to be normal?

Sims 2 is likely at fault as it is apparently displaying the game in the wrong resolution for your screen. I’d expect that in order to solve this you’ll have to change some display-related setting from within Sims 2. Look for an options/preferences/settings menu in the game.

How are you connecting to the monitor? S-Video?
