Most of my country’s self-produced movies. It would be hard to name all of them.

@Doctor_D what country are you from?

Your_Majesty's avatar

@seenmaker First of all,I don’t hate my country and I didn’t intentionally degrading it. It just that most movie in this country are so cheesy, some of them just a copy of another successful movie, full of censorship(due to religion manipulation),poor story, less dedicated characters, and many more. And If you really want to know then I’ll tell you. My country is Indonesia.

The Rocketeer or Waterworld – coincidentally, I saw them both at drive-ins.

A handful:
Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959) Ed Wood is known to be the worst director of all time
Oasis of the Zombies (1983) Jesus Franco is second worst director of all time
Disaster Movie (2008) anything by Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer – worst commercialist combo ever
Tarkan Viking Kani (1971) worst production values – Turkish cult cinema is tops-worst
Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) see for yourself

Others:
.com for Murder (2002) my vote for worst title of all time
Polish Vampire in Burbank (1985) runner-up worst title
This is an outstanding resource for this subject. As are these: 1, 2, 3
And finally, any movie with a dance scene

Oh man, there are a lot of bad movies.

The only film I’ve ever walked out of was The Da Vinci Code. I usually can hang in there and finish the movie even if it’s terrible. I almost walked out of A Series of Unfortunate Events.

I rarely fall asleep during movies, but I fell asleep during Tropic Thunder, although I wouldn’t call it a horrible movie, it just wasn’t for me.

I watch a lot of horror movies, and the worst two I’ve seen that weren’t meant to be tongue in cheek were Darkness Falls and Pulse.

I think any action film released these days is pretty terrible. I really didn’t like Watchmen, Iron Man, Hellboy II or Transformers.

Any of the spoof movies like Date Movie or Epic Movie or Disaster Movie need to stop being funded immediately.

I’m honestly not a fan of most of the stuff the big Hollywood studios make. I prefer independent films where the story has depth and substance. That’s why I’m not a fan of most Hollywood action movies because the plot/storyline and character development is always weak. I can’t only rely on things blowing up as entertainment.

Oh, that reminds me, any recent Nicolas Cage movies too.

I’m guessing people will disagree, but I thought The Matrix was the worst movie I ever saw. I didn’t understand it, it was too long and way boring. I fell asleep in the theater. My husband tried to explain the movie to me the next day I was really unsure if we even saw the same thing.

Plan 9 from Outer Space
Glen or Glenda
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Robot Monster
Billy the Kid vs. Dracula
The Incredible 2 Headed Transplant
Manos the Hands of Fate
The Brain That Wouldn’t Die!
The Madman of Mandoras aka They Saved Hitler’s Brain!
Future War (the only trailer I could find was from MST3K)
The Beginning of the End!

I really wanted to put Mad Dog Time aka Trigger Happy, or something by Michael Bay, but couldn’t justify that it was bad enough.

Anything Uwe Boll makes.

Just about anything ever parodied or satirized by Mystery Science Theater 3000.

My personal vote goes to “Sidehackers.”

Pirates of the Caribbean 2+3 I’m mean, really, it doesn’t even pretend to make sense. (Johnny Depp’s good though)

I think we’ve seen this question before, so you might check the Fluther archives also, but my vote is: Baby the Rain Must Fall. (Steve McQueen). What a disaster of a movie.

Joe Versus the Volcano

@breedmitch – OMG – you hit a cord. Joe Versus the Volcano is the only movie I have ever stood up and walked out on – and I left my girlfriend sitting there too while I waited outside. I had forgotten about that. She was PISSED! But it was a completely involuntary reflex to flee.

I’m with you. There is nothing right about that film. lurve

Ed Wood. . . and all the movies it was based on. They seriously are as bad as Ed Wood (the movie) makes them out to be.

Repo: Genetic Opera. I don’t get it. They won’t stop singing.
My Bloody Valentine. Only one horror movie is allowed to be in 3D and that’s House of Wax with Vincent Price.
