I have 10,000+ songs and no problems. Apart from iTunes takes awhile to load now. If you are getting a particular error massage make a note of it and then search apples support website.

my library is 230GB. maybe you’re low on drive space?

Try checking the amount of data space on your hard drive. Also try defragmenting it and deleting any unused files. You may just be out of space on the computer.

@squirbel: Where do you even get 87 gigs of music?!?!

squirbel's avatar

Heh, ask pup where he got 250!

I’ve been collecting since the 90’s, I’ve owned 2 CDs in my life.

I know a guy who judges for the Bafta awards, and he has well in excess to a terabyte. Crazy stuff.

65stang, what’s the source of the audio you’re trying to import to Itunes?

PupnTaco's avatar

Actually there’s just a few movies. I love music, what can I say?

marumaki's avatar

Check the files you downloaded. If it’s MP3 files there shouldn’t be any problems but if it’s WMA files I think Itunes won’t import it.
