If you had $100,000 to spend on a vacation for 20 people, what might you do?

Suppose you wanted a once in a lifetime get together for family – say 20 people, and had $100,000 budget. How would you spend the money?

I would probably rent out a major league baseball stadium and have my own baseball game followed by a concert from Fugazi, Blonde Redhead and a few others. I would also hire the hot dog, popcorn and peanuts and cotton candy guys to walk around with food. I think $100,000 grand would cover that.
20 people having a party at McDonalds. Then I am off to Fiji.
I was thinking Necker Island, but that wouldn’t even give us two full days at $53,000 per day. damn!
I’d take everyone to Disneyland!!!
I’d use the money for a hizouse.
Okay, okay, I can see the money has blinded everyone. Let me rephrase this…
If someone ELSE has $100,000 to spend on a party for 20 people, and you are going to help PLAN it, what might you suggest?
Now if it was £100,000 you wouldn’t see me for dust & neither would my family….. :-/
Ocean cruise with landing & sightseeing privileges.
One week everything paid Park Hopper tickets plus food at the Disney Resort, Orlando.
I would rent :these , book a swim with the dolphins at St Anthony’s Key and kick back on these beaches. Then book 5 day trip dives at the Sea Grape and hit Luna Beach for all you can eat buffet, then go drop a few dolars here….repeat until the money is gone! Should be able to do at least 4–5x’s each for 20 people!
I would change my mind and do something else with the money.
I would give every member 5000 and tell them to book the holiday that they were dreaming of making all this years but never had got the money or the time for.
And i would take my own 5K and do the same.
I’d give $10,000 to each of our children to use as they please. I’d give $10,000 to a worthy charity and spend the rest on a no-frills vacation exploring the National Parks in Alaska and then in the eastern half of Canada and the USA camping and staying in modest places en route, taking thousands of photographs. That’s what pleases my wife and me. We’ll e-mail some of the best pictures to all 20 people!

@6rant6 Are you referring to the 20 people? I don’t want to be with them. My wife and I do best on our own.
