If someone used a lip plumper by accident and they already have natural plumped lips, is it permanent and the lips would be like that forever?

Say if a female individual picked up some hot pink lipgloss from Victoria Secret but they accidentally didn’t see and know that it was actually a lip plumper with color.

They put it on their lips(not everyday) just on some days or when they feel the need to gloss up their lips, felt some gentle stinging, until they find out it was a lip plumper all along.A bit confused she’s not really sure if the lips really got that bigger or not.

When someone uses a lip plumper and it works, is it permanent and stay looking like that forever?

Ahhm the “bee-stung” look> Very alluring. However, if you don’t like it, see someone like this in your area.

I believe its effect last a limited time. If not, the manufacturer would only be able to sell it once to each customer. Don’t worry, I’m sure you still look pretty and will be back to your natural full lips in a reasonably short time. For now just do lots of extra kissing if you have someone really kissable in your life!

If it’s because of a product that you buy at a retail cosmetic counter and put on like lip gloss, no, it’s not permanent. They want you to buy a lot of product in different colors. If you go somewhere and get injections in your lips, then yes. You pay a lot of money for that. Even botox injections don’t last forever, but they do last longer than an over-the-counter product.

The lip plumper in lip gloss acts for a few hours.

I don’t think it “plumps” up lips…just looks that way, and it doesn’t last.

It’s temporary, don’t worry. I don’t like the idea of those plumpers though. I find them irritating.

Yes, it’s very temporary. I have a couple, and I actually like the tingly feeling, but I don’t see any difference.
