How to link up a jailbroken iphone 3g to my home network?

it just wont find my network not sure what else to do

My iPod Touch had a similar issue because of the way my router is set up. Between not broadcasting its SSID and the MAC filtering, I had a little “fun” hooking into my home LAN.
