Is there a batch command to do this?

Asked by XOIIO (18328points) September 1st, 2010 from iPhone

I need a way for you to be able to type anything, and a command so that it can store the note for later under a keyword and the list of notes will automatically change to include that one. Is there a way to do this?—the file would basically edit itself—

If its on a linux machine, you could easily do it with a shell script, and simply just have it create a text file (if applicable), and append that file to add the word/string on each line.

I’m sure you could do the same with a batch file in windows..just dont know on that one.
