As the collective shows lurve for you, your score increases. Your score approximates the positive contribution you’ve made to the Fluther community.

Sometimes you may find that your score doesn’t increase when you get lurve. This is because there are maximums that you can receive per answer, question, and person. We do this so that it's more difficult to game the system.

Here’s how your score increases:

• +1 for joining the collective
• +1 for logging in two days in a row
• +2 for getting added to someone’s fluther
• +3 for each “Great Question” you ask
• +5 for each “Great Answer” you write
