NSFW- Should I paint my manhood red?

Asked by mazingerz88 (28814points) August 21st, 2011

Ok, this is really a serious question.

French designer Christian Louboutin sells 240,000 pairs of shoes a year in the US alone. This hot product ranges from $395 to $6000 a pop and American celebrities and lots of other women find it desirable and sexy. The reason? Red soles

Louboutin is set to make $135 million bucks this year and presently in a legal fight with another brand YSL after the latter insists on making shoes with red soles as well.

So what is it about the color red that when applied to something, makes it more prominent, powerful and exciting?

I doubt there would be that many people that would see your red manhood.

incendiary_dan's avatar

@chyna So what you’re saying is “not without proper marketing”?

Lightlyseared's avatar

No. It will look like you you’ve just been with a menstruating woman and haven’t washed yet.

jaytkay's avatar

That’s only a half measure. To emulate the shoe’s success, you need to paint it red AND have women step on it for hours at a time.

poisonedantidote's avatar

Paint it blue and slap it on a sheet of paper.

It will also make bulls chase your cock

LOL All I can just tell you is if a man I was going to sleep with pulled down his pants and his cock was bright red, I would first laugh then I would have to say I can’t have sex with a cock that looks like that. I am open about alot of things but I like my cock without a coat of paint

I couldn’t give you sources off the top of my head, but have read in several publications that red is an alarm color for us. Blue is often perceived as soothing, as another example, etc.

As far as painting yer tonker red… meh. Too close to an organic color. Wanna impress me? Go neon-striped. And make it play music.

mazingerz88's avatar

@creative1 I could use other substances instead of paint. It could be something edible and sweet too. Maybe it will catch on! Lol.

ANef_is_Enuf's avatar

What is it with you and colored penises? ;)

creative1's avatar

@mazingerz88 why don’t you pop on a red condom instead like one of these

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

Just paint your balls blue as well.

FluffyChicken's avatar

No… when you whip it out, the poor lady you’re trying to impress will think you have some sort of disease. Or, she might assume it’s from friction and that you’re a chronic masturbator.

mazingerz88's avatar

@ANef_is_Enuf Oh no! You’re on to me! Lol.

@creative1 I don’t know, there must be something about this deep red color under black shoes that does the trick. My follow up question is do women who buy it, choose to for reasons simply aesthetic or they think it also makes them sexier?

@FluffyChicken Ok. I would contend that at least one of your stated assumptions in your last post is actually correct.

ANef_is_Enuf's avatar

I don’t know about the psychology behind it, but those shoes are hot. I mean, traditionally the soles of shoes are tan or beige, which is boring compared to red.

mazingerz88's avatar

@ANef_is_Enuf Hope @redfeather could share with us her opinion since she mentioned weeks ago something that touched on “f*#ck me shoes”.

FluffyChicken's avatar

@hawaii_jake Off with his… “head”?

Blackberry's avatar

It’s different, and red attracts attention.

CWOTUS's avatar

Put it in a great pair of shoes for her and you might have something.

JessicaRTBH's avatar

This question is brilliant. I’d totally paint it red.

FluffyChicken's avatar

I see a red dong, and I want to paint it black….

jaytkay's avatar

@hawaii_jake Absolutely YES!

Not gonna click on that link. No way, no how.

creative1's avatar

I like my shoes with the regular black soles on them, no red paint. Call me dull but I think I have enough for them to look at then my feet. But I have never been big on the whole shoe fedish of that some women get into.

Brian1946's avatar

Sure, if you’re into the canis erectus look. ;-)

creative1's avatar

@Brian1946 LOL now you do have a great point there…….

efritz's avatar

Unless she likes her meat extremely rare ew I think it would be mostly a turnoff. . .

Pied_Pfeffer's avatar

Not if the paint contains Red Dye #2.

creative1's avatar

@mazingerz88 here is the edible paint and they have red for you in a strawberry flavor, you just need to find someone who wants to have a red cock now

Berserker's avatar

The color red has always been associated with passion, energy and strength. Maybe it’s like, something deep in our cavemen minds that triggers when we see the colour. But it’s also associated with danger and anger, so really I denno. People go for all sortsa weird stuff when it comes to fashion.

MRSHINYSHOES's avatar

Red is a nice color, and because it’s frequently associated with women——red lipstick, red clothing, etc., it can be perceived as a sexy color, hence the red soles.

But personally, I would never paint my manhood red. Black maybe, but definitely not red. I don’t have to do anything, and it turns quite red anyways when I “use it”. Lol….. ;)

mazingerz88's avatar

@JessicaRTBH This guy could not agree more! : )

@creative1 Thanks and I better get “creative” then. : )

Hibernate's avatar

Because red symbolizes action and vitality .. I bet it has to do with making someone elses blood boil .. oh blood is red too. ^^

redfeather's avatar

Louboutins are freakin hot shoes. I have a pair of black leather pumps ;)

Cruiser's avatar

Only if you do your nose, eyelids and ears at the same time. That would make a statement!

mazingerz88's avatar

@Cruiser This guy has all of them just right. Lol.

Bellatrix's avatar

Is it the red soles that make the shoes desirable and sexy or is it the overall design and the fact that they are Christian Louboutin shoes and everything that could suggest about the wearer?

You could paint your penis red, but I would still find the shoes sexier.
