I’ve done both and everything in between. I don’t always regret the scars, I don’t always cherish the magic. I don’t relish the pain, or the magic, but sometimes both are necessary.

Some are scars, some are more like ripples in a pool of water, or footprints in the dust.

If I leave scars, they’re magic!

Hello, sweets! I do leave scars as I know you do too…

Nah, maybe the occasional hickey

What do you mean by “touch someone’s life”?? Can you be specific?

AshLeigh's avatar

If I’m being honest, I never learned to touch without scarring.
Just as I learned to be touched, and feel nothing.

@cookieman Has someone in your life had a long lasting effect on how you view yourself and the world around you? Have you felt their influence and remembered their words or the feelings they left you with? We’ve all touched someone’s life and we’ve all had our lives touched by others. If not, we have not lived.

No, but we leave implants. In their anuses.

I am happy if I leave them with a few nuggets of good memories.

Always sister, scars are simple reminders which are custom made acording to the artists at hand, some are much deeper than most however scars hide beneath the surface as well. Some of the best scars I have are from You Unholy Thirst and Mastema.

This question sounds like an angsty song lyric. However, I did meet an unforgettable person once.

I know I’ve hurt people (intentionally and unintentionally/deserved and not-deserved) over the years. I also know I’ve touched other people positively so I’ve left people with both scars and magic, sometimes the same person has been on the receiving end of both.

@WickedVamp: Thank you, got it, although your last sentence is pure editorial.

Anyway… no, I’m pretty sure no scars. Maybe a few laughs.

PS: On a side note, what I love about the three new goth gal jellies, is that they make @ragingloli instantly very pedestrian.

Dan_Lyons's avatar

@cookieman I thought they made @ragingloli instantly very equestrian.

If someone strikes out at me or my child, you better believe I will leave scars. I have had my heart broken and broken hearts. But I have loved, and loved well.

GloPro's avatar

I can’t really speak of what I may have done to others, but I can say that those that have left me with scars are those that have touched me most deeply. I think that’s just how it works. People can’t hurt you if you don’t let them.

Hypocrisy_Central's avatar

Ooooh….I am leaving lots of scars around here, many will last long after I am gone :-P

DrasticDreamer's avatar

I’ve scarred and been scarred, but more of the latter. I will never fully forgive myself for the hurt that I did cause, even if and when the person I hurt forgets about me completely. Alas.

Berserker's avatar

I leave mints on pillows. That is, if I don’t decide to just take the pillows and go, screw you hippy, get your own damn mints.

Mastema's avatar

You leave more than scars, WV. I leave nothing.

bluish's avatar

Some beg for the scars, some inspire the magic.

ginadona's avatar

Just to touch somebody’s life-no scars!

SecondHandStoke's avatar

Scars are an inevitable result of the moments of magic.

ragingloli's avatar

magic is not real

SecondHandStoke's avatar

^ GOD you’re fun…

ragingloli's avatar

Yes, I am God.

SecondHandStoke's avatar

Every single moment of misery in all of human existence has finally been explained.

Nope, that was your doing, Satan
