What @janbb said. Mothers always liked me. And they were willing to even overlook some things as well. I never had any trouble with mothers until I dated the daughter of a Rabbi in San Jose, California. That was squelched in a heartbeat. Broke both of our hearts bigtime. We showed them by taking a weekend trip to Yosemite. She was soon transferred from Sonoma State College to San Louis Obispo, about 250 miles away.
