With Trump as President, are we better of with dysfunctional appointments and incompetent administrators?

After all, consider the damage these folks might do were they at all competent.

Yes, but only if you enjoy sailiing on the Titanic.

No, because they can inadvertently cause a lot of damage. Like the proverbial bull in a china shop.

But think of the harm they might do if they understood their jobs.

If they truly understood their jobs, they would do the right thing.

That’s an interesting point. I’m saying that they don’t know how to implement those misguided ideas. You’re telling me that those misguided ideas erupt because they don’t recognize them as such. So are they blameless?

Well stupidity in the corrupt appointments might tend to be better.

Ideally Congress would have a spine, a conscience, and/or care, and so would reject appointees who have major conflicts of interest with the post they’re appointed to, like the majority of Trump appointees have very clearly had.
