The same things that I remember from my childhood: only the bad things.
Well, I have a few diaries and I write notes to my future self in the margins of them. I may only look at them every 10 years or so, so it’s pretty cool.
She got through hard times with resourcefulness and creativity.
Write it down @janbb! I wish I’d written more down. I look back and, for the life of me, I can NOT figure out how I pulled myself and 4 children through those dark times.I know I did it, I just don’t know how.
Far be it for me to say & modesty forbids, but hey…screw it!
I reckon my future self would fancy the pants off this handsome bastard…which is fair enough.
