If you live in Texas, are you evacuating for hurricane ike?

Asked by 2late2be (2292points) September 10th, 2008 from iPhone

where you live? I live in Austin, should I be too much worried about ike? My mom will come from el paso to Austin the afternoon of Saturday, should I change the date for her? Or the airport will cancel the flight if necessary?

This is such a good question! One of my friends was talking about it, but he decided not to. I’m a little freaked out, but I’m definitely staying put (I don’t have anywhere else to go!)
