I only have one iPod I sell the old one every time I buy a new one that way I don’t loose money

@ sethmedia – My dad bought my brother’s Zune on woot.

www.woot.com It was refurbished but a great deal. I don’t know if your familiar but Woot only puts up one deal for 24 hours. When it’s gone it’s gone. Unless it is a woot off. Then it keeps changing for an undetermined amount of time.

I bought my 16 gig iPod touch for $100 off refurbished. I have had no trouble.

You can also go to www.bagsofcrap.com and set up something that will notify you when a Zune comes up.

What’s the point of having an iPod if you don’t want to take it outside of the house? That’s what cases are for.

Heh, I do the same with earbuds (except they’re less costly).

I find the rethoric “its features suck so I don’t have to be careful with it” a bit odd, though. What I’m doing with the earbuds is more “it’s cheap (and thus sucks) so I don’t have to be that careful with it”. I take the good ones when I know they’re not that much risk and I feel like listening to good music :P

You should just sen me your disposable income, I want an HD plasma tv.

@ vincentt – I do that to. I have a crap 7 dollar pair for mowing the lawn and the like because they get yanked out of my ears through ear protection so much or break.

I actually felt like that once. I wanted a Zune just for the heck of it and not care about damaging it because I am always over protecting my iPod I’m always worrying about it. But all my talk about how Apple is better I would look ridiculous to my friends. No Zune for me.

I just found this thread. If anyone is still following it, is sethmedia for real? Also, when he changed his story to “I sell them before I buy new ones,” it was suspicious. I wouldn’t be so down on him, if he hadn’t used “gay” pejoratively.
