Where was your first kiss?

Asked by aviona (3260points) March 17th, 2009

And no I don’t mean body part.

Was it in the back of a car? Movie theater? Bedroom? Parent’s bedroom? Forest behind your house?

Oh please kiss & tell!

im guessing @bythebays was by the bay

but mine was on a rollercoaster…......the tunnel of love one….....

chyna's avatar

It was on the playground, 1st grade, recess. Billy (last name withheld to protect the guilty) came up to me and laid one smack on the lips. No tongue contact though.

I had a peck on the cheek in 4th grade, but my first real kiss was much later. In our rec-room (does anyone call them that anymore). I was 13, his name was Brian. I remember at first thinking it was kind of nice and then he jammed his tongue in my mouth and it was…not so nice. I actually remember thinking that this was a moment I was supposed to remember forever. I still remember.

@laxrrockr18: It actually was pretty close to the bay!

I was in a go away camp, and we were playing truth or dare ,and well yeah you know.

mine was sitting on his bedroom floor watching movies.
pretty lame but i still remember.

“watch a movie” is pretty much code word for “make out”

In my high school band room. :)

In front of my house, on the front porch. I was 16. He was my first ever boyfriend. As we were “figuring it out” my mom busted open the door to see if I was out there. Oh, MOM! Nevertheless, it was quite special!

In the back of my grandfather’s ‘91 Toyota pick-up.
It was not so nice.

Behind the coat rack in second grade.

funnily enough, inside a church! (empty obviously)
By a girl that was a year older (big deal when you’re 13) and was not even my girlfriend. She just grabbed me and wanted to make out. It was pretty uncomfortable, mainly because of the choice of place. I ran out and never spoke to her again.

Under the play carriage on the playground in first grade was my first kiss from someone other than my family… but my first “real” kiss wasn’t until I was 15, at a party, with a guy I didn’t really know and never saw again. Sad.

In Mary Warner’s closet after a 6th grade game of spin the bottle…Walter Mc Carthy and I almost missed each other’s lips and got it over with as quickly as possible…think our braces had something to do with it.

I was 12 years old and I was riding my bicycle around the block to meet up with Tony. We talked for a bit then he went in for the move, braces and all.

casheroo's avatar

I don’t remember any kiddie kisses.
My first real kiss was at 14, with my first boyfriend. We were walking down an alley way, and saw down on a cement wall and he began kissing me, tongue was involved. He also touched me which was super surprising. It was a pretty sexual first kiss.

A boy kissed me when we were in the backseat of an SUV and his older brother was driving us home after school. Seventh grade.

Under the misletoe at the seventh grade Christmas dance. Since my dad taught at my junior high, the teachers who were chaperoning notified him. I wasn’t allowed to go to another dance for the rest of middle school.

Summer camp, the last day. The guy I had a crush on told me to close my eyes, I did, he kissed me. We were the only two in the room. Summer after ninth grade.

My first kiss that I got to participate in was the same camp a year later. I got me a boyfriend and he kissed me. He asked permission first and everything. It was super sweet. Summer after tenth grade.

On her front porch, as I was walking her back to the house from our first date.

A summer night in a cozy spot in the hedges in front of a neighbor’s house after a day of swimming. 6th grade. The hugging was the best part. Ahhh….
Thanks for reminding me.

aviona's avatar

@SuperMouse that’s such BS that they wouldn’t let you got to any more dances. So dumb!

On the school bus one afternoon heading home. It was in high school, can’t remember the year.

His dorm room. Yeah, I was old for that first, wasn’t I?

My grandparents’ summer house the summer I was 14. We locked eyes and I dodged in for a peck on his lips. He didn’t look startled at all, just asked me if I wanted “to do that properly.” he’s English. I asked him if he had ever done it before and he said no. What I didn’t know was that by “properly” he meant “with lots of tongue” so he ended up pretty much licking the area around my mouth. It was so cute though and we are still good friends to this day. :)

With four girls in someone’s basement. We played Seven Minutes in Heaven. I was like 7 or 8. It was like little boy overload.

trumi's avatar

I’m really glad to see I’m not the only one who’s first kiss was in high school :)

Love you Fluther!

in a basement stairwell with lisa brownlow. or was it dawn? lisa, dawn, one of the two. no, angie ross. wait, was it erceal or sonja? teenage “first kiss” years are a bit foggy. it was one of them chicks. angie died years ago. she was a great kisser, i remember.

asmonet's avatar

Mine was with a girl, technically. We just went for it for funsies. There was nothing special or wonderful about it, I never bought into that anyway. It was in a mutual friends apartment, I think on the deck in the middle of the night. But it was fun, I vastly prefer the boy make outs though. And it was long after high school. I really wasn’t interested in anyone until I was like 18. I was too annoyed with other people in general. :)

Anyone else wait as long as me? Didn’t think so. :P

On her couch after our first date. She invited me in.

I thought I was late…I was 15. Last row of the movie theater. I kept wanting to put my head on his shoulder, but couldn’t because he was wearing one of those leather jackets with spikes on the shoulder (he was going through his punk rock phase). Finally about half way through the movie he took it off. I was so excited. This was over Thanksgiving Day weekend. We’d already held hands on Halloween. We were dating before Christmas.
We’d been best friends for months prior.

In a sandbox in my neighbors backyard…. the girl next door… I think I was 4

asmonet's avatar

Oh, well I had those, I thought first kiss only applied really after puberty. Maybe that’s just me.

NaturalMineralWater's avatar

Well if we’re going for “real” kiss i wouldn’t count anything until my first year of college..laying on the lawn outside the administration building .. xD

Butterflies ftw

Well, it wasn’t quite the forest behind my house, but that was pretty much it. She was a neighbor, and we had a date to go for a walk. There was about six inches of snow on the ground. We were walking through the woods in front of my house, when we paused, got close, and tried to kiss. Her lips were so cold, and I suppose mine must have been, too.

For some reason, I thought we should be lying down to kiss. I don’t know how I acheived this, but I do remember us kissing while lying in the snow. I don’t think this lasted long. We said goodbye, and I don’t think we ever did much together after that. If we did, it was mostly as friends. Later on, she became a lesbian.

asmonet's avatar

@NaturalMineralWater: Yeah, see I have an entirely different view on ‘real’ first kisses. :)

SeventhSense's avatar

@daloon
Would you say she was a lesbian when she kissed you?

wundayatta's avatar

@SeventhSense: Hmmm. Are you still going on about that?

SeventhSense's avatar

@daloon
DOH! You are slippery.

It was the summer I turned sixteen, and it was on a park bench in the Jardin Zoologico in the Parque de la Alamedilla in Salamanca, Spain. Unfortunately, it was a short one and an only one because a peacock came up right behind us and screamed just as he got up the nerve.

He decided it was a sign from God and never got more romantic again beyond holding hands and looking longingly at me.

Kindergarden playhouse, but really on a grassy bluff by the sea when I was 16.

augustlan's avatar

I had lots of those kid kisses, but my first boyfriend and I went into the kitchen of a friend’s house specifically to kiss for the first time. Prior to that we just did a lot of hand holding. We both had braces, which was a little difficult to navigate, but we managed. I was 11 and in the 6th grade. Ahh, sweet times.

In the storage closet at a park during our fathers (thats more than one father, I repeat, not my brother!) softball game.

My first REAL kiss was at a HUGE college party (I was a sophomore in high school, but shhhh, they didn’t know that) and I don’t remember jack sh*t, lol. I was incredibly drunk. I got all these calls the next day about how I was making out with this hot guy all night, and apparently my best friend had saved me from him dragging me into one of the rooms, and she took me home. The thing is… I don’t even remember this guy. They tried describing him but I have no recollection. =( Oh well. Not everyone has an incredibly romantic first kiss I guess, lol. To make up for it though, my next kiss was under mistletoe =). Even though it was just a friend. But still, how cute. I’d rather tell my kids the mistletoe story when they ask about my first kiss, rather than the whole me being drunk and not even knowing i had had my first kiss (/makeout session, apparently) until the next morning when my friends informed me. How embarassing.

aviona's avatar

@MCBeat it’s okay, just don’t count the first one ;)

augustlan's avatar

@MCBeat Yeah, definitely go with the mistletoe!

Darwin's avatar

@MCBeat – If you don’t remember it, it didn’t happen. Besides, maybe your friends were just messing with you.

MCBeat's avatar

@Darwin nope, it happened. After my close friends told me, I called up some other friends of mine that were there, who didn’t even know my close friends, and they all had the same story. Crap. I definitely don’t remember a good two hours of that party, I was there from like 9pm to 2am, and I don’t remember anything after midnight except getting into the car, then for some reason trying to escape while the car was already in motion. I have a faint memory of me saying “take it slow,” and the guy’s like “no, YOU take it slow,” but i thought that was just a dream.
