What would be the opening & closing lines in your autobiography?

Asked by ucme (50047points) June 24th, 2010

Yeah something pertinent with enough intrigue to draw the reader into the story of your life so far. Then an appropriate way to close leaving the reader satisfied but wanting more.Of course any such book may go unwritten or at least unpublished, but at least you tried god damnit,at least you tried.Humour as always is welcomed & encouraged.

Happy families are all alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.

So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

I never knew it was a closet. All I knew growing up was that I was locked behind a door that had a key I couldn’t reach.

Yes, the key was always within my reach.
