Question
What are you listening to this very moment?
This has been done before with interesting results, so I thought I’d try it.
What are you listening to? If music, what particular song or album?
Or, perhaps you are listening to your boss, your mother, the jackhammer ripping up the asphalt outside your door, the traffic speeding by, birds chirping or perhaps even the voice or voices in your or @YARNLADY’s head?
For me, I’m listening to Sigur Ros, the () album.
Answers
Im watching my new It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia DVDs.
Specifically the “Troll Toll” song from The Nightman Cometh.
Musically, the new Dirty Projectors album.
the lights buzzing; the receptionists talking to patients on the phone and at the window, shuffling papers, making copies, and typing on their keyboards; people in the hall outside our office; the doors squeaking; the computer’s CPU grumbling; the hearing aid that I’m programming feeding back; and always the ringing in my ears.
I recently found these great recordings of the Brandenburg concerti by the Freiberg Baroque Orchestra on youtube. They use period instruments and are absolutely wonderful.
Here is an example.
Family Guy in the background, my wife is desperately searching for an episode she hasn’t already seen
A plate reader rotating a 96-well dish at 480 rotations per minute. It’s a noisy sucker. When it’s done and I have to pipette 192 things in a row, I’ll be listening to Radiolab.
Untill three minutes ago i was listening (online) to the debates concerning the Dutch equivalent of the State of the Union.
To be continued tomorrow.
Outside (the door to the balcony is open) some diggers are scooping mountains of earth into a whole.
Co workers complaining about our new health insurance rates. If we don’t submit to tests to show nicotine levels in our blood, and pledge to quit tobacco products, we will have to pay $93.00 more per month for insuarance.
The voice in my head, Anthony Bourdain, the fan, the humming sound in my head, the keys as I’m typing.
Long Beach Dub All-stars the song “pass it on”, it just changed to Stone Sour, song “Silly World”. People talking on the phone outside my office.
Love that Sigur Ros album!
I have my ipod on top rated shuffle, and right now is the end of Bright Eyes’s Land Locked Blues and the beginning of While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
My ipod must be feeling a little down.
An airplane passing over my building, kids playing in the park, and someone drilling in the apt. upstairs from me.
@nikipedia…Perhaps Radiohead would be more conducive at breaking the monotony of your repetitive tasks. See ya…..Gary/wtf
I’m listening to the washing machine and dryer having a noisemaking contest. Kind of sounds like Sigur Rós to ;) Just kidding I love them, can’t wait for the first snowy day with Sigur Rós on my mp3 player.
@jonsblond…And let me guess that this evening it will be the RandomAssRadio show on Ustream you will be listening to. I will miss the live broadcast this evening….seems Sherry and I have tickets to the Hollywood Bowl to catch a group you may have heard of…..The Killers! I’ll catch a rebroadcast when I return home….tell @Blondesjon not to despair.
See ya…..Gary/wtf
As for me, I am listening to the sweet sounds of my wonderful husband whistling. Oh, yes… And Bailey (our dachhund) snoring as well as a dog barking, off in the distance…
@whatthefluther I hope for you the concert won’t be cancelled for some reason.
Have fun!
@sccrowell What is your not-so-wonderful husband doing?
The raucus voices of the people in the travel group close by, making endless phone calls, half of them personal and all of them at announcement volume. The subdued ticking of keyboards among the quiet writers and editors in my cubicle neighborhood and the occasional churning of the printers and fax copier a few yards away. A low chorus of voices from behind the closed door of a nearby conference room. The steady thrum of the HVAC system.
@rebbel….Events do not get cancelled in L.A. for just any reason….well, unless there are reports (confirmed, or otherwise) of a possible drop of precipitation falling anywhere within a 50 mile radius…..
@pdworkin, @whatthefluther is laughing at my post and telling me about yours… LoL
@whatthefluther You are right. We will miss you in the chat room. Enjoy The Killers!
@SuperMouse That’s what I’ll be listening to in about an hour, except it will include a 5 year old too.
@erichw1504….You have been apparently composing (or sleeping or on a different window) for nearly 45 minutes. The question is what are you listening to this very moment, the moment you read the question, not the entire afternoon. See ya….Gary/wtf
The sounds of the end of the day…Kids slamming their lockers, yelling at their friends. The squeal of tires as people pull out, way too fast, from the parking lot. My typing (a little inconsistently). My shoulders popping I need a massage. The whoosh of the air conditioning, which is on a little too high.
I am making a mix on 8tracks Which is a really cool site. But currently I am listening to The Voodoo Zombie kings. Rock – n – Roll for lost souls!!!
I was just napping listening to Ryan Adams’ album Easy Tiger.
Now I can hear someone mowing their grass in the distance.
@nikipedia, lurve for Radiolab! <swoons>
I’m listening to the hum of the AC, the drone of the cars passing on the street, the buzz of my laptop cooler (it’s two fans), and Fly Me to the Moon, sung by Frank Sinatra. :D
@whatthefluther, @erichw1504 may be preoccupied! Seems if my memory serves me correctly, just the other night I was in the middle of Congratulating @Fireside for making 10k and…. Ahhh… We got a little preoccupied…. =). Ahh remember? You know? I don’t believe I ever finished that post!! Bad Bad Sherry!
After chomping down some dry Honey Nut Cheerios (for lupper), I just now heard my stomach say’ “nuh uh, this ain’t gonna work”. So, da plan; order a football-sized panzerotti loaded with tasty goodness. NOM!
I just watched Night on Bald Mountain and The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Let the Drummer Kick
@cprevite….You gotta know I’d triple lurve you for listening to Ryan Adams. Have you listened to his/Cardinals cover of Alice in Chains Down in a Hole on their Follow the Lights EP? It’s very good, as is their latest album Cardinology (or is it their latest…the bastard is so prolific it’s hard to keep up with him). See ya….Gary/wtf
My favorite version of All along the Watchtower. Sorry Jimi and Bob fans.
Computers whirring, keyboard keys clacking, computer chairs creaking, the clearing of throats and noses… it’s quiet as hell in this office!
Oh and also the air conditioning now.
Just a cacaphony of yard tools, until clicking on Mr. Bundy’s link, now I’m listening to two guys in a cabin…
@jeffgoldblumsprivatefacilities much lurve for the BSG
@erichw1504….In case you were unaware, you were logged on and posting a response to this question for the last two plus hours. I trust you didn’t walk away from a terminal in such a precarious position….and I certainly hope your boss did not discover same (or the next thing you hear may in fact be your termination). See ya….Gary/wtf
Sinéad O’Conner’s Theology album and Put Down Your Arms album.
I love you Sinéad, keep on making albums that are rockin’.
Oh yeah, I also listen to Audio Holy Bible [English Standard Version] . It’s a blessing beyond anything .
@ESV That is the first time I have ever heard Sinead O’Conner described as “rockin”.
At this exact moment: Bagpipes playing Amazing Grace. A very young policeman was murdered in my city and I’m watching the news of the funeral. There is no sweeter sound, or more mournful sound than that of bagpipes playing Amazing Grace.
A while ago I finished listening to the new Muse album, “The Resistance”, again.
Now I’m listening to “Stray Cat Blues”, The Rolling Stones. :)
@jeffgoldblumsprivatefacilities then you have never heard Sinead O’Connor – Mandinka
Now, several hours later, I’m listening to Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, Movement 4. (New World Symphony)
(The one that starts out like Jaws and morphs into something so awesome….)
Listening to Elvis. Here are some of my fav’s

The crickets chirping outside my window, and the soft sound of cars in the distance. I love the sounds of evening!
Those from the US of a certain age remember the trippy, yet sexy tones from the narrator of those old psychedelic Levis commercials from the 70s, right? Well, the guy has a site I just stumbled onto and I’m listening to him right now! He’s sooo bad-ass.
Ladies and Gents, Ken Nordine.
@whatthefluther: I def. need to get Cardinoligy – and I haven’t heard the Alice in Chains cover. I will look for that. I only just discovered him this year (through the Elizabethtown soundtrack) and am loving his stuff so far.
I am listening to Kitchen Nightmares. Its an episode where Gordon Ramsay returns to restaurants he’s helped out to see if they have kept the changes.
Random Ass Radio on Ustream. just as @whatthefluther guessed I would be doing.
The album ‘This is for The White In Your Eyes’ by Choir Of Young Believers.
Recommended by a fellow Flutherite, actually.
@SpatzieLover i love little bear! what a good show :D
i’m listening to rocky raccoon by the beatles.
Wind – Wind, as it whirls round my hair and ears from the ceiling fan. Breath – The slow and steady breaths of my beloved, as she sleeps behind me. Hum – The humming of the refrigerator fighting for another day. Harmony – the sweet sounds of silence sing.
@tiffyandthewall Little Bear is king to my 4yr old ;) I like him, too
GAs to all (I’ve just caught up). Thanks for participating….as expected we got quite a variety of responses. On @cprevites mention, I’m off to put on some Ryan Adams (I may play his/Cardinals/Whiskeytown catalogue, which should keep me going for a couple days….just kidding tho it will be a good part of a day for about sixteen or so albums). Feel free to share some lurve Ryan Adams fans! See ya….Gary/wtf
I’m at work (8:12 p.m. – Thursday, 17 September) and I’m currently listening to the song “Destination Unknown” by Missing Persons on iTunes on my laptop computer.
@johnpowell Thank you so much for reminding me of that song! I Lurve you long time!
listening to the jet fly over, the windows are rattling, and the car alarms are going off. I think that one was too close to the ground
@JLeslie I have always lived by one. Can’t sleep without the sounds of the planes and jets.
@brinibear: I have Air Force and Naval Air stations, plus one of the larger deployment bases right near me, plus we are near 2 major cities and a few smaller airports; so I understand how you feel. I remember how eerily quiet it was on 9/11, and was startled when 2 fighter jets zipped by.
@brinibear and @hearkat – We are next door to the only Naval base that also has both an Army base and a Coast Guard base on board, and which is the HQ for Naval Aviation Training. We hear planes and helicopters all the time.
The only real problem is when the Blue Angels come to visit and practice right near us. They love to fly low.
@hearkat I remember that on the 13th I was home alone, sick, and the sirens on the base were going off. There was an announcement, and apparently they scrambled all the A-10’s from Peterson, and Buckley, and I think a couple other bases, But the sound was so tremendous, I thought another world war began. I dragged my behind out of bed, and moved as fast as my body would let me, and went to the basement. I called my mom up crying.
I also live under the flight path of DIA (Denver International Airport) I live 15 miles from there.
@Darwin So I guess I can assume that you live in Cali, right? Love the Blue Angles, I’ve only seen them fly over out here, but I always see the Thunder Birds, just flying over. But I love being around the areas with planes. I have seen so many. I’ve see Air Force One from my bedroom window, I’ve seen Marine One and Two. I just love it. The only thing I don’t want to hear is one missing the runway. I catch all the sounds too.
But any ways, I am listening to The Reflex by Duran Duran
The Way He Makes Me Feel – Barbra Streisand in Yentl.
Yes, I am going to say say whatever song I happen to be listening to at the the time whenever this question pops up in my “activities”
I’m listening to “It’s Too Late” by the amazing Carole King from the most excellent album “Tapestry”.
Miles Davis- Summertime.
ooh, now its Thelonious Monk- Round Midnight
sitting by the fire, it’s a beautiful evening :)
@brinibear – Actually, the HQ for Naval Air Training is here, although I used to live near Alameda when it was still open
Hmmmmm….. I’ve been listening to my Favorite band GREEN DAY!! Gosh I love I love his voice!! Don’t tell WTF, but, I have a crush on Billy Joe Armstrong!!!!!
@Darwin I use to live out there when I was little. lol :) But literally I’ve been around bases my whole life. When I was out in Cali after I left my ex, I was right outside of Lemoore NAS. I loved it out there, not just because of the jets, but I love a guy in a uniform.
I am listening to my dog snore.
@Tink1113 I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you sad, now you’re making me feel bad :’(
The crickets outside,
sporadic traffic in the distance,
my cat purring, and groaning at me because I moved my feet (I am so inconsiderate!),
and always, always, the ringing in my ears!
The two new singles from Chester Pennington’s (Linkin Park) side project, Dead by Sunrise (if I recall….I’m not in iTunes at the moment). Good stuff! See ya….Gary/wtf
@SuperMouse Great tune, know it well, except in my house it is called Molly the boxer snoring loudly.
@SuperMouse and @chyna – And in our house, it’s called Scarlett the American Bulldog. 120 pounds of love and drool.
@valdasta Les Miserables is my favourite show!
I’m listening to Smoke and Ashes by Tracy Chapman
Pearl Jam- The Fixer and the crickets chirping I think this is what heaven is like or I could only hope :)
@valdasta Well, I live in England and I am pleased to say that it is still runningin London. I’ve lost count of how many times I have seen it.
I’m listening to the Arctic Monkeys thanks to @RareDenver. I do love that song. :)
@RareDenver Holy hell I’m listening to the Arctic Monkeys too! Funny because I only have one song of theirs, Fake Tales of San Francisco, and I don’t even like it all that much, lol
The Campptown ladies sing this song,
Doo-da, Doo-da
The Camptown racetrack’s five miles long
Oh, de doo-da day
Goin’ to run all night
Goin’ to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the gray…
my daughter is singing it right now. what a song to get stuck in the head for the evening!
Right now I’m listening to my dogs bark because of my cousin! Ugh! It’s sooo annoying!
Im listening to an awesome awesome band :)
@jonsblond Reminds me of a drug-related parody done by Dr. Hook and he Medicine Show in the ‘70’s:
O-h, it ain’t all right if you do downs,
Do downs, do downs,
O-h, it ain’t all right if you do downs,
All the live-long day
‘Cause you’re gwine to sleep all night,
Gwine to sleep all day
I’ll bet my money on a bag of reds,
Somebody do downs today.
(to the tune of “Here Comes The Bride”)
Try not to die, try not to die.
Try not to die, not to die, not to day.
The darn radio in the bathroom (@sccrowell inadvertently set it to play for one hour everyday at this time and I keep forgetting to tell her to fix it when she returns home from work….perhaps she’ll discover it herself on her next day off, if she doesn’t drag me off again to fluckin’ Bakersfield to visit my mother-in-law, her daughter and my 20,000+ new grandkids {OK, it’s really only six,. but it sure seems like over 20K….I’ll never survive this Christmas})!
See ya….Gary/wtf/lurve whore
On YouTube, being sung by Johnny and June Carter Cash:
Where, where are you tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone?
I searched the world over and thought I’d found true love.
You met another and – PFFT! – you was gone!
Been listening to my ipod the international folder for that last 20 minutes.
I Was Made for Loving You—Paulina Rubio (love the orginal too)
Asereje—Las Ketchup English version
Encore Une Fois—Sash (makes me want to go out and dance).
@JLeslie Oh my! I can’t believe you said Asereje by Las Ketchup. I never heard the English version but I love the Spanish. Such a catchy fun song!
@jonsblond….Great show. It was nice having more cool jellies drop by. We’ll all have to get naked and drunk again next time. Got to go….@sccrowell threw together something to eat. Later….Gary/wtf
@deni Here you go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_vLzARYZZs It’s Spanglish really.

Nothing. For once in my life I am not listening to music. I just locked myself in my room and turned of the lights. And here I am. iPod in hand and no music playing. It’s kind of nice not to hear anything.
the new chick on SNL dropping the f-bomb on live tv and then realizing it and making a face. priceless
@eponymoushipster I had to record that on DVR. I loved it when she puffed her cheeks.
@jonsblond she knew exactly what she did. that was hilarious. i figured it might happen with all her “friggins”.
@eponymoushipster You could see that “oh shit I lost my job” look as soon as it happened. She was scared to death after that moment. I had such high hopes for her. :’(
@jonsblond yeah, that’s why Norm MacDonald got fired. and on her first show, too!
Barge horns from the Illinois River with Misery in the background.
oooh Annie just hit Paul with the sledgehammer…ouch!
I am listening to Back to the Barnyard droning on the television in the next room. Listening and being creeped out picturing that male, bi-pedal cow, with udders. Now you’ll have to excuse me, I’ve got to change the channel.
@blondsjon “she didn’t get out of the cockadoodie car!!”
@bumwithablackberry – I don’t need the voices in my head to do that. My son takes care of that quite well.
I’m actually digging on this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sp6G0ThWEqM
old favorite
Warning, rock music
Some woman singing the vaguely country-sounding intro to a football game bleeding through from the TV in the living room; my boy roomie and his friend hooting for tonight’s football game to begin.
The sound of a thousand Coa-Coa-Puffs tic tacking on the Kitchen floor (I am “watching” the little one while my wife runs the kids to school).
Fox News – for some reason, I had a weird desire to be lied to and deceived this morning. “Unfair and Unbalanced.”
@Tink1113 look what you did. I love that song, but then it made me want to listen to “To Myself I Turned” Lacuna Coil
@boffin lurve for Tool.
Ken Burns’ National Parks documentary on PBS. Watching it in HDTV is even better. :)
@jonsblond I almost got a job pushing barges in the Illinois River years ago!
@Yetanotheruser It was closed for some time due to record floods this year. Small world, isn’t it! =)
@Bluefreedom have you watch Law and Order: UK? it’s really good.
The rain. It has been so long since it has rained down here that I almost forgot what it sounds like.
@SuperMouse I love Linkin Park too. :)
“21 Guns” -Greenday
@whatthefluther I LOVE Spoon! Gimme Fiction is on a permanent loop on my Nano.
In my head: Shake Your Pants by Cameo. ::shrugs:: I have no idea how it got in there, but it’s been an ear worm for the last 10 minutes. That video, though. HA!
I heard the original in an episode of Fringe, when I went looking for it I stumbled upon this great remix, I do like A Skillz and his buddy Krafty Kuts
my clock going tick tock tick tock….. it’s time for bed.
@SuperMouse You missed the big announcement tonight! Mr. Andrew McClain will be a guest on Random Ass Radio next Wednesday! Woot!

Weekly “Yes” fest….
@SuperMouse You mean, “three” of your favorite sounds, right?
I’m listening to The War Of The Worlds on vinyl, I love my records, I remember when my Dad invited me to go see the full live show….... WOW
@RareDenver AWESOME! My dad scared the shite out of me when I was younger with War of the Worlds. He decided to play it in the car on the 2.5 (at least) hour drive home from my grandmothers house in the middle of the night (looking back it was probably only about 8pm but it was very very dark out there!). I was to scared to look out of the windows in case I saw aliens.
Anyhoo…I’m listening to Stranger Than You Dreamt It from The Phanton of the Opera cast recording!
@Leanne1986 My dad made me listen to so much weird music but I love him for it, here’s a weird mix of his fucked tunes and stuff like too
I am really digging the new Foo Fighters song. I didn’t like it that much the first time I heard it and now I can’t stop hitting “replay”...
”Don’t be a what? (pussie) that’s right, listen to Random Ass Radio because Goddamnit…” – Jonsblonde and Chelsea on YouTube.
The new SNL digital short. I love these.
@Tink1113 Are you talking about the one with Jon and Emily? I hope my mom never sees that one, but it is hilarious!
@jonsblond Emily? Whoops, I thought it was Chelsea for some reason. It was hilarious! And also 8 minutes of watching Jon shave haha!
@eponymoushipster lmao
@Tink1113 I’m bad with names too. It’s ok. :)
@jonsblond Glad I’m not the only one! :)
“Lost and Found” -Senses Fail
@Tink1113…My first and favorite purchased ring-tone several years ago. Have you heard that Thom Yorke (Radiohead) has formed a side project band with Flea on bass (Flea’s the best and bass was a later-in-life {well, still teens} afterthought for him…he was trained to play trumpet {or other brass, perhaps…you know about my memory slips on minutae}....now that’s the basis for a supergroup)!
See ya….Gary/wtf
@whatthefluther No I didn’t know that. You put some knowledge in my pea sized brain :)
The Arcade Fire – Neon Bible just concluding, having already listened to Funeral, all thanks to an @cyndihugs suggestion on another music thread . Not sure what to do next, maybe Three Days Grace, One-X (just ordered their new one as well as the latest Dredg and Muse on CD…..I’m fed up with iTunes…my AFI download is still fucked up….that never happens with Amazon downloads)
@Tink1113 oh, the tilde just usually means sarcasm in these parts. yeah, it was pretty good. i tweeted a few pics. basically played the whole album.
@Tink1113…That is damn sexy monkey, remember?
the monkey man has earned a bit of respect….well, actually a lot of respect, but he is an easy target and a very good sport
See ya….Gary/wtf
@eponymoushipster Haha I am aware of that, I just used it to show emotion. That’s cool though! Youre lucky. :)
@whatthefluther My bad, damn sexy monkey!
Of course he is!
@Tink1113 yeah, it was a great show. I’m going to see Dirty Projectors later this month. you ever hear them?
@eponymoushipster Dirty Projectors? Nope I have never hear of them.
@eponymoushipster Wow that’s something you don’t hear everyday, but they sound like a decent band.
As Hazel the dog dreams, she thumps her tail against the sofa that’s she’s lying on. I wonder what she’s up to inside her head.
@wildpotato….Good stuff! You trippin’? See ya…Gary/wtf
download the link you won’t be disappointed, I’m off to see them tonight too
they give the mix away for free, don’t feel guilty
Three in a row first time listens (the latest from each band):
Smile Empty Soul: just completed, less emo, good
Muse: If its all like the single “Uprising”, what a treat
Three Days Grace: high expectations following One X
See ya….Gary/wtf
@whatthefluther All those songs are awesome!
“Fix You” -Coldplay
@aprilsimnel….I love Robbie Williams (but I’m forced to listen when @sccrowell is not around….she has a rather different taste in music).
Up right now: early Snow Patrol (Polar Bear album)

@Leanne1986 ”...who am I…2–4-6–0-1!” In my head, due to your comment.
@Leanne1986 “Valjean is dying from the 10th anniversary album”
I have heard of killer albums before, but not quite like this.
Disc 2 of DMC Presents Krafty Kuts: These Are The Breaks
go on buy it, you know you want to
Brave New World – Charlotte Church (in my opinion this is the best thing she did in her whole “singing career”)
Don’t push me cause I am close to the edge, I’m trying not to lose my head.
I’m Watching Happy Feet.
A mid-70s gospel/pre-disco song I remember hearing constantly as a kid by The Mighty Clouds of Joy called Mighty Cloud of Joy, natch.
They also did this song that every DJ worth his turntable should be sampling. It was a huge secular hit. Both have that tight “TSOP” sound.
At the time, they were going for a crossover market, much to the severe irritation of old black church ladies all over America. Hey, with genius songs like this one? Those old biddies could stuff it.
If I don’t make my own choice
If I don’t speak in my own voice
Who’s going to say all the things I’ve got to say?
A man’s got to make and ride his own mighty cloud of joy.
If you don’t get the jealousy off your back
If you don’t get the enemy off the track
Who’s going to run you down but YOU?
A man’s got to make and ride his own mighty cloud of joy.
@aprilsimnel lol, I like your description of an open hi-hat
@RareDenver, er, what’s an “open hi-hit”? You don’t mean “hi-hat”, do you?
@aprilsimnel I have no idea what you are talking about, lol, seriously though thank you for spotting my typo
Oh. All righty, then! :)
“TSOP” means The Sound of Philadelphia, by the way. Philadelphia was a major center of American soul and disco music at the time.
@aprilsimnel lol silly me, I though you meant the TSOP noise an open hi-hat makes (when closing)
My son saying, “I need help!” [with his homework]....but he doesn’t really need help – just a swift kick in the pants.
Up to 400 answers now! You must be very proud @whatthefluther!
The Fray – The Fray
I’m going to try to make it to one more concert…..I just bought 4th row from the stage tickets to see The Fray on the USC campus. The location, itself, brings difficulties, inasmuch as I am a UCLA alumnus. But, it is tempered a bit by the fact I did attend several continuing education courses at the Anderson School of Management at USC (of course only because they were sponsored by my then employer). This will be the third time seeing The Fray, a tight band with a ton of talent. See ya….Gary/wtf
PS: While typing, The Fray CD ended, so now it is Fuel – Sunburn
PSPS: @Tink1113…..Right on!!!
I hear the traffic going over the bridge a few blocks away as the window is open to air out my room.
@Leanne1986….I gave you lurve for Rod Stewart and even Carrie Underwood, but I’m sorry…...I have to draw the line at Barry Manilow (and Michael Bolton, for that matter). I would sooner give you lurve for listening to someone running their fingernails across a chalkboard. But, since you have otherwise shown a fair taste in music, your indiscretion will be overlooked, but can never receive lurve from me. See ya….Gary/wtf
@whatthefluther I admit that there are some artists that I am ashamed to say that I like but Barry Manilow is not one of them. I will never deny my love of Barry!
@Leanne1986….GA lurve for being passionate about your love for Manilow and not backing down. Granted, Manilow has talent (much more so than Bolton) but just doesn’t appeal to me a whole lot. If I recall, he had a number of television specials some time ago, and I will admit to seeing more than one of them, tho it was likely due to a scheduled guest performer and not because I longed to hear him sing Copacabana. See ya….Gary/wtf
@whatthefluther Just to be clear I am not a fan of Michael Bolton (although I probably can’t say I hate him either!) but I am a Jennifer Rush fan who I believe sings with him on the only song that I have of his on my iPod :)
I am currently listening to Subcity by Tracy Chapman.
@RareDenver they just tipped it over, so that was fun. ~
@jonsblond Okay I’ll see (pardon the pun) your (His) schwanzstucker…
And raise with “What Knockers”
Rooll rull Rull inz zhe Hey
@boffin lol. Nice
“Oh, you men are all alike. Seven or eight quick ones and then you’re out with the boys to boast and brag.”
Aquagen – Hard To Say I’m Sorry 2k9 some of our older users may recognise the original and smile, or go, WTF? have they done!!
Porcupine Tree – Drawing the Line – from the 2009 album “The Incident”
