Are there any famous scientific studies about granite emitting radioactivity?

i’ve searched the internet, but i just haven’t come across any. Is there anyone out there who can complete a beter search and tell me what they come up with?????? the study doesn’t have to be exactly that. It can just be related in some way. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took an intro to philosophy class where we watched a video showing these little circles in the granite caused by the decay of radioactive materials and using it as evidence for creationism.

Polonium haloes have been thoroughly debunked as evidence for creationism.

I think the OP is talking about granite in countertops, as flutherother posted.
