What can I do around Pratt Institute?

I'm visiting my friend at Pratt and she has class until later tonight. What can I do in the area that is interesting?

You can hang out in Union Square Park. There's a dog run there and always a lot of interesting things going on in general (breakdancers, etc.). It's on the north side of 14th Street, between Broadway and University Place (walk 1 avenue east from 5th Ave).
