What is the treatment for Becker's nevus?

Asked by Marchofthefox (787points) November 19th, 2010

I have it on my left shoulder and I’m so embaressed.
I was thinking maybe tanning? I don’t really have money for laser treatment and I’m sort of tan.

If your doctor diagnosed you with the condition, I am surprised that he or she didn’t talk to you about its treatment. Tanning may be what instigated the condition, so that may not be your best choice. You can shave the hair (or use other hair removal methods). I think you are best served by talking to a dermatologist.
