What are some places I might be able to find this silly toy on line?

Asked by Dog (25152points) December 5th, 2010

All my oldest daughter wants for Christmas is a toy Donald Duck. Apparently it was sold this year in Hallmark stores at Easter time. It is an animated Donald Duck wearing rabbit ears and he hops around and if you touch his ears he says something like “Don’t touch my ears!”

I have called several Hallmark stores without luck. I have searched Craigslist and Ebay.

Ebay had one but it was used and needed to be cleaned. I was really hoping to get one that was not messy. Not necessarily pristine but still not actually dirty.

Can anyone point me to one for sale or some sites that it might be sold on line?

Thanks for any help at all- I am beginning to think that I won’t find one for sale at all. :(

Write to the Hallmark company itself. See if there is an address for customer service online.

If all else fails, you should just buy that one that “needs cleaning”

@janbb Awesome idea- I will do that too. Their web site says they are no longer available though. Cant hurt to try.

@curiouscat Yes I could clean it but I was hoping that would be a last resort. I know a lot are out there in better shape if I can just find one.

Call 1–800-HALLMARK to talk to the company’s customer service. The main website still includes a reference to Donald (“Don’t Pull My Ears” plush Donald Duck waddles and flaps his arm in sync to a lighthearted song until he’s picked up by his bunny ears or head. Then his wings and feet move faster while he squawks, “Hey, Put me down!” He is available for $14.95 with the purchase of three Hallmark cards in Hallmark Gold Crown stores.)
