What do you do if you stick your tongue on the inside of a freezer and rip it off?

How old are you? Don’t do that again. Go to an Urgent Care type facility if you are still bleeding.

Your tongue will heal by itself, your common sense needs work though.

It’ll heal, every Canadian kid has stuck their tongue to a meatal post ‘cause some older kid said how neat it was or some such. I was smart enough or chicken enough to only use the very tip of my tongue. Don’t eat or drink anything spicy or acidic.

If you ever get stuck like that again, get someone to give you a small glass of cold water, and pour it over your tongue; it will separate your tongue from the frozen metal without ripping the skin off. Yes. Experience is a great teacher.

A friend of mine did that once. Good thing the silverware drawer was right next to the fridge!
