What does void mean?

Asked by interalex (130points) March 7th, 2011

Is it space? Vacuum? Is it just empty space?
Some believe that void is required for molecules, particles etc to move in between.

There is always something everywhere… If not matter than Dark Matter or Dark Energy… and in an 10 dimensional universe everything is possible…. in your case void might be undetectable emptiness.

Void means emptiness, nothing- but in all things nothing is merely something else or just another thing. therefore it can be manipulated as everything else.

So what s this void thing? if I tell you you wont believe me..

A void is just a name for a place where nothing is. So yeah, space or vacuum.
It can also mean ineffectual. In other words, Magikarp used Splash . . .

Maybe a vacuum bottle would be a good example of a void.

I use to work in a factory that made vacuum bottles. The process is unique and very hot.

The void, in a vacuum bottle, is the space between two glass pieces, inside the container.
This space or void is what keeps drink or food hot in the bottle. The void acts as a buffer to stop or slow down the heat or cold from one surface to another, inside the bottle.

If it were not for the space or void, a true vacuum bottle would be just a plain plastic mug.

It means to urinate.

Void = the space between our dimension and another dimension which is empty :(

As @rarebear says, it means to urinate, but more specifically, it means to empty one’s bladder.

Matter is just fluctuations in the vacuum If this makes sense to you, kindly explain it to me. As near as I can tell, we have it all wrong. Voids are not holes in beingness. Somethingness consists of gaps in the void.
