How can I get the music back on my iTunes?

I opened up iTunes today and I saw that i was missing more than half my music. I started freaking out but then I looked in Music>iTunes>iTunes Music and it is all there. When I tried opening one of the files, though, it played but didn’t add to my library. How can I fix this?

That’s the weirdest thing. Mine and my sister’s itunes did that, too. My library is completely gone but the songs are all on my computer. It added to my library, I’m not really sure why it wouldn’t do it to yours. Try this:

Hold down SHIFT
Open itunes
Choose where the correct library is.

That hopefully will work for you.
