Have you ever sent an embarrassing text message to someone by accident?

Last month, my sister was having a baby and I was driving her to the hospital. Her husband was meeting us there, and I texted him “I hope you get to the hospital before the baby dies ;)
I meant to say “does.” I have an iPhone. Lol, stupid autocorrect. What’s even worse is that her baby was premature, and he was already worried that something might go wrong, and I had talked to him about that earlier. Anything funny/embarassing like this happen to anyone recently?

I was sending a very sexual message to my boyfriend and I accidentally sent it to my father. Now that, was very embarrassing.
No. And I also haven’t sent any nude photos of myself either.

It wasn’t me, but my former girlfriend who send the texts wrong.
Some eleven years ago we were distant from each other for some months.
At one point we send each other saucy text messages, it started as a joke but got pretty steamy quickly.
We send dozens a day, until suddenly i received none anymore.
I was afraid i went to far in wording them or maybe my fantasy was too fantastic?
Instead my girlfriend’s niece received the last dozen.
Weird thing was, my girlfriend wasn’t embarrassed at all or so she claimed.

No such luck. All the embarrassing ones were on purpose.

I sent an embarrassing text to the “wrong” person intentionally once! I had a sex dream with this guy, and I wanted to tell him because it was kind of funny but I wasn’t sure if he’d think it was weird that I was telling him. So I texted him: “Ahh I had a sex dream about [his name] last night! It was sort of awesome.” He wrote back, “I think you meant to send that to someone else, but that’s hilarious! I’m flattered.” And conversation ensued. Sometimes “accidental” texts are the best!
Here’s a real accidental one: my cousin gave me a European chocolate bar called “4play.” I was away for the weekend, and ate it one morning. I texted the cousin “Mm 4play 4 breakfast.” However, my old phone used to sometimes click the first contact in addition to the intended one, and the first contact was my mom. She received this text and thought that either I was having sex or I was implying that she and my dad were since they were alone for the weekend. Oops!
I’ve never sent one but I received one once. My friend who works offshore had just gotten off the rig and started his 6 hour trip home. We talked for a while about a show we were planning on going to later that week and he text me some info about it after we hung up. Then, hours later, I got a text from him that said:
“I’m an hour from home. Put on your best pair of panties and meet me in the bed”!
I sent back, “Lol, ok!”
The next day he sent me another one laughing about it. He didn’t even realize he sent it to me until he got home that night. Me and his wife still pick on him about it.
I once sent a picture of my balls to my Mom.
it was totally on purpose. i was just embarrassed that i wasn’t wearing clean underwear. she’s a big stickler about that.

@MyNewtBoobs . . . No. It was the standard “pull them out the pee hole in your tidy whities” picture that everybody sends for Mother’s Day.
@Blondesjon She must be so proud that her son still does that, despite being old enough to have his own kid in college…
@MyNewtBoobs . . . She sure is. I also make sure that those two boys of mine send pictures of their balls, in clean undies, to their Grandmother every Christmas. It’s a family tradition dating all the way back to my Great Great Grandfather who, even though he was badly powder burned the first time, always managed to send a photograph of his balls to my Great Great Great Grandmother.

I once sent a rather suggestive message about the coziness of my bed that was meant for a woman to a very dear friend. He responded with a hearty “WTF, man…WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!”
Not long ago I sent a gossipy text message about my boss to a colleague who, like me, doesn’t always see eye to eye with said boss. However, I didn’t send it to my colleague, I sent it to my boss. It could have been A LOT worse than it was (I didn’t say anything offensive about him) but it was still embarrasing when he said to me “I assume that wasn’t meant for me.”
