Why is there so much advertising for non-profits on Hulu?

…some with seemingly small budgets? Is it generosity from NewsCorp/NBC and the rest of Hulu’s owners? Or…

You mean like….?? I see tons of ads for cars and junk food and the iPad, which hardly count as non-profit.

watch some more. it’s rife with ‘em. from wind energy to local nyc food drives…

@JonnyCeltics Do you live in NYC, and it’s probably paid by the city as local advertising?
