How to rid the "side-boob" fat?

Asked by Kandy (363points) November 24th, 2011

Alright, so when I wear certain clothing, or even a bra in general, I get that extra hangover flab. I have tried a bigger bra and the same thing happens. Are there any kind of exercises that can make that go away?

You don’t necessarily need a bigger bra, but a better fitting bra. I just found this site that first shows you how to find your proper size, and then it goes on to say that if your size is a D cup or bigger, you may have to have some other information (which it describes) and it also mentions that once you get into the D cup sizes, some bra manufacturers have vastly different sizes. So this site gives you the real sizes and give a bunch of recommendations for bra brands.

The website is called Her Room

I don’t think there is much you can do to firm up the flab as you put it (that’s not flab girl, that’s just more of your wonderful breasts). Most chest exercises will firm up the muscle under your breast tissue in the front of your chest (like men’s pecs) but there really aren’t any muscles on the side part of your breasts. The other, more drastic option would be to get some type of surgery to change the shape of your breasts, but it doesn’t sound like that is necessary.

I hope the bra website will be useful to you.

Push ups and I agree with @Kardamom about a better fitting bra. Many times people just are wearing the wrong size.
You can also buy a vneck body shaper . Many come just up under the underarm and will hold the side boob in and keep it from popping out.

It is definitely the wrong cut of bra for you. Great bras work wonders!

I have yet to find a bra that actually fits. Finding one that’s comfortable and fits is even harder. I’ve been “fitted by experts”, but still no dice. Good luck.

My bosoms leave a lot to be desired and I also have this problem…although it does get better the more weight I lose… I have yet to find a great fitting bra and have had all sorts of professional fittings…I’m broad and not well endowed in the chest department…some things suck but I read a cartoon once with a girl looking in the mirror half naked saying…small tits big bum…perfect! And I’m sticking with that! :-)

It is all about diet, and not dieting. “My bosoms are beautiful in all shape and form”, that should be your mantra/affirmation.

whoops, i shouldn’t be here I can feel the wrath already.

Yes, big bums rule..to a certain proportion.- bye
