Evidently Apple will be putting out an ipad Mini. Anybody know the exact dimensions?

Surprisingly, there was just a brief news teaser about it coming on Oct. 23.
I’m thinking the Mini would likely be a seven incher similar to other brands out there.
What do you think? Would you get a Mini ipad?

No. I don’t see any need for that size in my life, as it is halfway between a touch-screen phone and a 10” tablet. But many people find that the mini tablets are a happy medium of being more portable than a full size tablet but being able to do more than s phone with the larger screen, so I can see how it has a niche.
Depends on the power of the trash compactor.
7” tablets are much better than 10”, in my opinion. But it’s still iOS. Plus, I can’t see how they are going to price this. The iPod Touch is $299!! I’m assuming it’s going to have to be more than that. With the Nexus 7 at $199, I just don’t get who will get this at $349.
Rumor is 7.85 inches and starting at $249 for a 8Gig wifi version.
I on Friday I sent in my 8Gig 4G iPod Touch for repair due to a bad home button. I expect to get a refurb one that I can sell on craigslist for 125. So a iPad mini for 125$... I can deal with that.
