Do you just ask three questions in a row to ask your questions for the day or are you really interested in the topic? Sorry if that sounds nasty, but I am wondering.

psyonicpanda's avatar

No not at all. I would rather not spend my time chit chatting about nonesense. A nice book, a good movie or a fun game are better then being Mr. Jibber Jabber.

jonsblond's avatar

No. I’m not talkative. I am very quiet. Almost too quiet at times.

1. Not at all.
2. No.
3. Outdoor activities. I’d rather hike than sit and chat.
4. None.
5. I just put my hair in a ponytail if I’m having a bad hair day. Has nothing to do with my silence.
6. My friends.
7. Eat popcorn and watch the movie.
8. I don’t attend meetings.
9. Small talk with strangers.
10. I don’t like being in large groups and I don’t like being the center of attention.
11. Yes.

I only answered all of these questions because I struggle with my quietness. I feel society looks down on those who are as quiet as I am and it makes me feel as though there is something wrong with me. (I have the same questions as @janbb. and you have way too many questions in your detail section. I feel like I’m answering a survey instead of helping someone who is actually interested in my answer.)

When I have a bad hair day (which is often-I have unruly hair) my confidence level goes down but I talk as much as usual. Am I talkative? I am very quiet until I get to know people. Then I can talk a lot (sometimes-I have a friend and she talks so much I can’t get a word in edgewise). What do I do in my spare time? Read and do crossword puzzles. Pretty soon I will be swimming and working out. I moved into an apartment with a swimming pool and workout room. Do I like being the center of attention. Absolutley not. I am very private. What do I do during a movie? I wish I could say that I hold hands with my loved one but I am going through a divorce so I can’t say that.

Very. Without addressing every question, the global answer is yes.
I am extremely witty, talkative, humorous and verbose. I share Alicia Silverstones personality, which is very rare with only .25 of all women, or ¼ of 1% of females with like temperament, so, you can only imagine. lol
I love stimulating discussions on a myriad of topics. I like ENTERTAINING people with natural comedic style and I like reactions, not attention.

I am very comfortable speaking and being in large groups, I don’t have a shy bone in my body.
I live on property in the hills and my favorite past times are writing, gardening, decorating and hanging around my little micro-farm with my animals and walking the nearby beautiful river trails.
Most of my friends bore me to tears and yes, I usually lead the conversations and try to tease a little humor and intellect out of others. haha

@Coloma I am shocked! Shocked!

Ya know, I’ve been tempted to answer a couple of your questions but every time I click on them I see like 80 more questions and I feel like I’m being given some test…

Coloma's avatar

@janbb Haha…yeah, ya think, it’s IMPOSSIBLE for me to say, what most people can say in 20 words or less. lol

1. No I hate it, at times though I have verbal diarrhea.
2. No, but I feel people think I should do.
3. Watching National Geographic on YouTube
4. The Marathon of my life and I will win .. just watch
5.LOLL
6.We all do, we all have big mouths when we get started
7.I just watch, I don’t like to drink or eat. (in the movies that is)
8. Yes, I hate meetings they make me anxious
9. Thinking positively
10. No.
11. No, I just say “OK, bye!”

By the way these questions on their own would have made great questions. :)

I can be very loquacious in the right circumstance but I am also a big fan of silence.

gailcalled's avatar

That’s not a question..It’s twelve questions. What do you really want to know? Or do you like the sound of your own voice?

fremen_warrior's avatar

@Highbrow I see a pattern emerging in your questions – next you’ll be asking us these: “Are you a morning person?”, “Do you like flowers?”, “Are you a dog person?”, “Do you like Tuesdays?” etc. It is my opinion you are a spammer of a different sort.

You are trying to downgrade the discussions on Fluther to the level of a colourful magazine.

@gailcalled is right also.

I do not consider myself a talkative person. I love to talk to people, but I like to listen. My favorite thing is falling asleep while someone is talking to me. It is so soothing…. or could be soothing, except it’s rude. It takes a special friend who understands I love them and love falling asleep to the sound of their voice, and they don’t get insulted.

Most certainly not. I can’t even understand how people know how to socialize, it’s like some big mystery to me. Being around people just make me nervous..unless they’re like my family. I still spend a majority of my time hiding in my lair, writing and drawing and what not.

burntbonez's avatar

I’m actually quite quiet. I much prefer to listen. I don’t like spending a lot of time with people, and while I have a lot of friends, I rarely see them. I’m just not big on socializing. I do talk, when necessary. I have things to say. I just tend not to say them.

JenniferP's avatar

I like his questions. So what if he asks a lot. If I don’t like a question I pass it by.

glacial's avatar

Hmmm… doesn’t seem that long ago that this question was asked. How about we not chase off a newbie who is asking lots of questions? They are actually pretty good questions.

1)Do you love chatting and talking endlessly for hours?

No. I am talkative but I don’t want to talk to people for hours.

2)Are you always brimming with something to say?

No. Sometimes I want quiet time.

3)What is your favorite pastime? Seriously.

Irrelevant to your question topic.

4)What kind of marathon have you ever dreamt to win?

Irrelevant to your question topic.

5)Do you become silent when you’re having a bad hair day?

Irrelevant to your question topic.

6)When your friends are with you, who is the one doing most of the talking?

Sometimes. I am a chatterbox but I try not to dominate the conversation. I want to hear from the other people I am with too. I don’t want to just hear my own voice and thoughts. I bore myself!

7)What do you love doing while you are watching a movie in a theater?

Irrelevant to the topic in your title.

8)Does your throat ever go dry after you come back from a meeting?

See above.

9)Which is the biggest challenge for you?

See above.

10)Do you like being the center of attention when being in a group?

See above.

11)While talking to a friend or an acquaintance, have you ever ran out of something to say and faced an awkward moment?

Of course.

I try not to get too snarky with people but you really are pushing the guidelines. I am okay with people asking additional related questions to their original topic but you aren’t doing that. Many of your subsequent questions are irrelevant to the original topic. Please be advised that your questions will be flagged and will be at risk of removal if you don’t amend this trait.

I think I’d feel better about your questions if you’d interact with us throughout the thread. Try to be part if the community, not just a Q-Machine.

He’s a lean, mean question machine.

I talk too much when I am uncomfortable with any given situation.

Coloma's avatar

Funny how many introverts here, and then, there is me, whose indian name is “she came to talk.” lol I win the award for verbosity here and in real life. haha

AshLeigh's avatar

Once I am comfortable with someone I can be talkative.

YARNLADY's avatar

Maybe he/she is a question bot. The questions seem like it.

I am the one everybody calls motor mouth. I interrupt and I never stop talking. It is a consequence of my OCD.
