What to wear?

Asked by Headhurts (4505points) June 14th, 2013

What do I wear to an arena? We are going to see Mrs Browns Boys in 3 week at Nottingham Arena. I want to look nice, but not too nice. I don’t want to be casual, but not too dressed up. What is the middle ground here?

A summer dress? Something like this?

This is difficult to answer when I don’t know your style.

Thats quite cute, thanks.

I would like show my legs. Short but not too short.

Something like the picture you provided I think.

Is it inside? Wear/bring a wrap too. You never know if it will be blasting-AC-cold or theater-full-of-people-musty hot. Layers help.

This is cute, with a black tank.

These are a little more casual.

This is fancier.

A middle ground that shows legs. Ok, maybe a skirt, straight ones seem to be coming back here in the states (midthigh to just above the knee depending on your preference) and a simple t-shirt type top, a knit, with a cardigan in case it gets cool. Flat-ish shoes so climbing stairs is no trouble. I’ve been going towards bright colors lately myself, but evening you can definitely go simple and black or navy if you prefer. In a big arena I do consider that there might be a risk of getting stained or dirty, so I wouldn’t wear white probably, or something very light in color.

Thanks all. I think I might go for something like @livelaughlove21 suggested.

@ucme We only started watching it about 3 month ago, so it was very hard to get tickets.

I can imagine, they’re in demand those tickets so you’ve been lucky…enjoy the show ya fecker!
