I’m the chef in the house usually. I’m average I think. There is 20 different dishes I could make with those ingredients.

I’d use the chicken stock and cut the red onions very thin and make onion soup.

I’d take bacon and onions cook them up in a pan, drain, and add it to al dente cooked penne pasta.

Cornmeal plus water, form into discs, and fry in a pan. Eat plain or slice open while hot and add cheese like a sandwich.

Ground beef, sour cream, onion, beef bouillon makes beef stroganoff. Rice would be my last extra ingredient with that.

Or, the ground beef, spaghetti sauce and put it over penne. Add green beans on the side quick sautéed in a little but of butter and oil.

Chicken stock, rice, saffron, add a little bacon and shrimp, and I’d throw in some peas for something green. You don’t have any vegetables really. Not ones you can count.

Pork ribs, lots of salt, cook them up and then serve with lots of lemon. I would want them with rice and a salad. The salad can just be iceberg and tomato with the canola and lemon and salt for dressing.

I make a lot of dishes with 5 or less ingredients I guess.

I can’t wait to get my mitts on those 3 gloves of garlic!

What can’t you make with that list plus 3 ingredients, would be a better question? I guess your dessert options would be limited somewhat.

@ibstubro You could do a pineapple crumble if you used one of the extra ingredients allowed for sugar.

Sugar and eggs make lemon bars, @JLeslie.

Lemon bars are one of my favorite desserts! I usually use the box mix. Maybe I need to start doing it from scratch.
