How do you transfer contacts from a Treo 650 to an iphone?

Has any one done this and what are the options? My contacts are on the palm software (PC) not outlook.

Export the contacts from palm desktop in vcard format, import them into outlook and sync iphone with outlook.

Note that its a long long time since I used a Palm but Im pretty sure desktop will export a file format that outlook will recognize.

If you havent got outlook, windows vista contacts will also import vcard format
