How many 911 calls were placed during 2006?

I am researching emergency service dispatch statistics, and cannot find the number of 9–1-1 calls made during 2006. If anyone can find this number (and provide the url to find it) I would greatly appreciate it!

From what I can see there doesn’t seem to be completely accurate records on this (see the intro in this report )

Also does it really cost $6.40 to call 911 in West Virginia?

This was the page I was looking at https://www.nena.org/?page=911RateByState but looking again Inthink i misread it. It’s not cost per call but a surcharge to the phone bill. I think.

That would probably be correct. I know there is a surcharge but don’t remember how much.
