How do I remove my activity for you and other on my account?

Asked by LornaLove (10037points) October 31st, 2017

How do I clear my questions for you, activity for you etc., as I’ve been here years and I am here on and off so they build up? Any solutions? as I miss more frequent questions that I have answered and would to some extent like to stay current.

On questions for you there is a link that says remove all. On activity for you there’s one that says mark all as read. Both in top right.

^^I think that only works from a computer. I don’t think those commands are possible on a mobile device.

Ah, I never use the mobile version of the site. You can always switch to the desktop version while using your mobile device (bottom of the page). You can switch back again right after if you like the mobile site.

Click on “Activity . . . ”
The page you land on has a “Press for All read” or something like in the top right. I’m working from memory. That should remove all the Activity.

Click on activity and remove question one at a time with stop following. Remove all only works until someone answers the question again.

And the good news is, it doesn’t work any more, unless someone specifically shares a question with you.

Thanks, all.

I just hoard them. I currently have 2225 Activity for You. How many have you got?
