What is it that makes you happy and sad at the same time?

Loneliness.

Thinking of my kids when they were little.

That I have it much better than my parents did, who struggled hard to make that happen

Looking through old photographs.

Missing my love of my life.

Amen to that @nope. My grandson is like the spiting image of my son. He looks the same, he acts the same. It’s like I get to spend time with my little son again, before he became 6’ 4”. It’s like a precious gift that kind of hurts.

Visiting my mom in the nursing home.

I become happy as well as sad when I think about my struggling days!

I babysit one of my grand kids 5 days a week. That makes me happy. My DIL works for a school district. But today school got cancelled due to ice, so no baby sitting for me today. That made me happy and sad at the same time.
