Is this Famliy Guy clip right about prostituition being legal if it is part of a porn movie? (NSFW)

Technically the performers are not explicitly being paid to have sex, but rather to act out a scene. “Anything beyond that is a matter between consenting adults”. That’s how the porn industry gets around solicitation laws.

Sorta like how you can find call girls in any decent sized city, but you’re, technically paying for “their time and companionship” and “sex is neither implied or guaranteed”.

Your question errs in its premise. Being part of a movie doesn’t legalize prostitution, because it isn’t prostitution!

I remember a story from maybe 20 years that pretty much reenacted the clip from Family Guy. Basically a rich guy hired pornstars to bang him in his house with a few tripods. No lighting or crew. He ended up in legal trouble.

I tried and this incident is very difficult to google.

Its about as the same distance from prostitution as someone like Anna Nicole Smith marrying some rich octogenarian.
