What have you changed your mind about lately?

Asked by joeschmo (1396points) March 28th, 2019

Or whom?

Major or minor event.

Are you easily swayed?

What does it say about a person when she can easily be convinced to change her mind, re. politics, affairs of the heart, etcetera.

Thank you.

Buying a 100% blackout curtian and eye masks. I’ve had deep sleep by trying to stay up all night. I don’t need them any more.

She? Just she?
I haven’t changed my mind about anything recently.

Pronouns are tough nowadays. I went with “she,” wondering who would notice anyway.

I just watched Don Lemon on TV show showing nine Republicans asking for Chairman Adam Schiff’s resignation and he responded very intelligently outlining what Republicans may think is OK and what he himself thinks is not.
It has confirmed my doubts about the President and his aides /relatives involvement and because of this I believe it would be eye opening for the General Public to hear as well.
He was attacked and he counterattacked very well with the facts.
I prefer to hear all the facts before deciding final verdict . I would link tonight’s show to view but its not online as yet? Watch it if you get the chance.Is is eye opening and gives food for thought.

@Inspired_2write I really enjoyed Schiff’s response. Here it is…

I think I may have changed my mind about the Democratic nominee I might support. I’m keeping an open mind.

@Stache
Thanks for posting this very eyeopening counterattack by Chairman Adam Schiff.
I enjoyed it as well.

I’m starting to change my mind about trying a much lower carbohydrate diet to see how it affects my cholesterol. I’ve known since my teens that consuming a lot of sugar affects my triglycerides, but I never had to significantly cut back on my diet, but rather just avoid excesses like sweet treats, juice and soda. I’ve never notice an affect in my cholesterol though. I have been a little stubborn about the idea, but also afraid to consume even more calories from animals. I know I can just go more vegan, but if I cut out a lot of carbs that would be even harder to maintain.

I’ll change my mind quickly if someone presents me information that shows me I’m wrong.

@joeschmo… “They” is making a come. It’s technically incorrect but I use it anyway.
If they are willing to change their mind I’d call it wisdom.

joeschmo's avatar

@Dutchess not sure I understand.

Dutchess_lll's avatar

Above you said “Pronouns are tough nowadays.” So just use “they” instead of “he” or “she”.

Correction to my post above. * “They” is making a comeback. *

@Dutchess_lll

Thanks for the clarification. My mind is fuzzy sometimes.

It’s all good. I wasn’t clear and I know better but I’m getting lazy.
