Is iTunes really going away?

I’ve read conflicting info about iTunes going away.

If it is going away, what’s the best way to save what I have on it?

And what if I still have money in my account?

It is being split into separate apps. So there will be a app for music, a app for podcasts, and one for videos. Nothing you bought will go away, it will just be spread out a bit.

And for now iTunes on Windows will remain unchanged.
